Dr. Borromeo holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Science, Technology & Society from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. Her residency at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, centred on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and diabetic limb preservation. She went on to practice in central California, treating a high-volume, diverse patient population and performing advanced limb-salvage procedures.
